Game & IT Studio — Fitzroy, Melbourne
ArenaForgeAtlas is a Fitzroy-based studio building competitive game clients, low-latency netcode, and the DevOps backbone behind them — from first prototype to launch-day scale.
The numbers our clients keep coming back for.
How we work
A four-stage build loop we've run across arena shooters, auto-battlers, and racing sims. Fixed milestones, weekly playable builds.
Weeks 1–3
We map the core loop, define your netcode budget, and hand back a playable vertical slice you can test with real players before a cent goes into full production.
Weeks 4–12
Client, server-authoritative simulation, and matchmaking are built in parallel. You get a fresh build every Friday with patch notes and a live metrics dashboard.
Weeks 13–18
We provision autoscaling game servers across Sydney and Melbourne regions, then run soak and load tests up to your target concurrency before anyone else sees it.
Week 19+
Launch-day war room, then a documented handover — or an ongoing live-ops retainer where we run patches, seasons, and incident response for you.
What we build
Pick a track or combine them — every engagement is scoped and priced up front in AUD.

from A$48,000 / project
Full game-client development in Unreal Engine 5 or Unity. Gameplay systems, animation pipelines, UI, and console/PC/mobile ports handled by a dedicated pod of four engineers and a technical artist.
The studio
A small senior team in Fitzroy — no juniors billed as seniors, no offshore surprises.

Netcode & Backend Lead
Built the rollback stack behind a top-10 Steam fighting game. Obsessive about the 42ms.

Technical Art Director
Runs the render pipeline — from shader budgets to that satisfying hit-spark you can't stop looking at.

Live-Ops & DevOps Lead
Keeps fleets green at 3am. Has never lost a launch-day war room.
Player & partner reviews
A featured build diary and a few words from the studios we've worked alongside.

"ArenaForgeAtlas took our messy prototype and gave us a server-authoritative shooter that held 60k concurrent on launch night without a single rollback incident."
"The Friday build cadence changed how we work. Every week we had something real to playtest, and the metrics dashboard meant no arguments about what was actually broken."
"Their DevOps pod runs our live game so we can focus on seasons. Uptime went from embarrassing to 99.98% in a quarter."
